Kristan M. Pettiford
Associate Attorney
Kristan M. Pettiford earned her undergraduate degree in political science, with a minor in psychology, cum laude from Old Dominion University in 2007. She went on to serve as a field organizer for former Virginia Governor Ralph Northam before earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law in 2011. Since becoming licensed to practice law, Kristan has built a broad legal background that includes civil litigation, traffic matters, criminal defense, bankruptcy, divorce, and estate planning. She has also served as lead litigation counsel for multi-state firms representing creditors, organizations, and individuals. Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants, Kristan brings a well-rounded perspective to her practice. She is a skilled litigator and negotiator who is committed to delivering effective representation and ensuring client satisfaction. Beyond her legal practice, Kristan is deeply committed to service. She regularly volunteers with her local public school system and serves on three community boards. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing and baking with her children.
